The Port of Toronto, one of Canada's largest major inland ports, is situated on the northwest shore of Lake Ontario. Its location at the doorstep of downtown Toronto provides access to 25 per cent of Canada’s population and is no more than 1300 km from many of North America’s largest cities. Port users take advantage of this unique proximity and transportation services of marine, rail and major highways.
The Port of Toronto is owned and operated by the Toronto Port Authority (TPA), with the marine terminals operated in partnership with Logistec Inc.
